RageWork is written on Java a cross-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) packet of useful software such as file manager, FTP and SFTP client, search documents (WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT, PDF), backup and more. The manager enables to do basic operations on files e.g. copying, moving, deleting, changing the name, create new files and directories, execute programmes, compression and extracting files in various formats, creating and checking the value of MD5 (in future SHA, CRC16, CRC32) and many other functions. Worth noticing capability of the manager is the option of the fast preview of pictures and fast convert to various format. Just click the right button of the mouse on the graphics file to see the picture. Search documents and files module with which you can find and search it content without other software. A unique function of search module is capability of searching the files and documents saved in the formats .DOC, .RTF, .PDF (in future .XLS, .PPT, .PPS). While configuring the searching you can use the expression AND, OR and * (as any signs) and ? (as a single sign). Of course brackets () can also be used. Example: (vegatables OR car) AND (o* or ?e*). Backup module - simplicity is its advantage. Configure (give the number of backups, files and documents) and run it. It's very useful to make fast copies versions of documents. Requirements: To run RageWork You need the Java 2 Runtime Environment (JRE), version at least 1.5 (the new name of this version is 5.0).
